This 1953 political cartoon is titled "This Restaurant Only Serves One Person". It was drawn by Yuliy Ganf, a Soviet era Ukrainian-Russian graphic artist and illustrator for the satirical magazine Krokodil.

Cartoon shows waiters serving trays of money to a table where sits a soldier labeled “War”, while sad people sitting at tables marked “Education,” “Health Care,” “Libraries,” and “Art” go ignored. The waiters symbolized different countries— America, Britain, France, and West Germany — highlighting how Western military spending overshadows public needs.
