One thing about bullies, is they desire to control the narrative.

When squid/transistor-cafe decided I was a bad person years back, they shut down anyone who said otherwise, and intentionally reached out to friends to spread false rumors.

Its up to you to call out people who behave like this. Otherwise they win simply by signal to noise ratio.
