I know no company will ever see this, but my rule of thumb for companies implementing age verification that is anything other than "Are you 18 years old?" or "What's your DOB?" is to just stop using their service.

If I wind up an old person focused on ethically-licensed OSS and local tech only, playing old games, so be it.
