Idolomantis diabolica, commonly known as the devil's flower mantis or giant devil's flower mantis is found in the region of East Africa like countries Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Somalia, South Sudan etc. It is known for its aggressive mimicry where it mimics parts of an orchid flower. When threatened, it performs a deimatic (startle) display by raising its forearms to show bright, hidden colors like red, white, and blue, a bluff to make predators think it's dangerous. It only feeds on flying insects.
