.meow is raising funds to become a new Top Level Domain for and by queer folks. They are a nonprofit group who will be putting all the profits towards supporting queer groups .
Support them on kickstarter and - if their application is approved- get your first year with a .meow domain.

A really interesting thing about this campaign is that the team's contingency plans and display of transparency puts most others to shame, including eatablished organizations with ample resources.
