it's tremendously sad seeing demonstrably capable people absolutely lose their grip on things and make claims like "Seems very doable with AI assist, and very hard otherwise." what tremendous lack of self-confidence leads you to this nihilism about your own and others capability... (even ignoring the bit where an llm ain't going to help)
