The AI stuff fills me with anxiety mostly because it's happening in the imperial, capitalist ecocide - and accelerating it.

What if there were narrow models, trained consensually, forced to use renewables, x, y, z? What if "I might lose my job" was actually a good thing? That's not our timeline sadly, but it is how it could look. Needs to look!

For me this is the perspective. The dynamic hasn't changed, it's "just" accelerating.

Just seems like a golden opportunity now to surface and delete bullshit jobs as well as surfacing and highlighting actually-very-useful jobs.

We should be challenging any outspoken AI-maxxers about their opinions on UBI and working hours, forcing their hand to speak up for life and dignity - or outing themselves as monsters.
