Repeatedly tested the switch on this nightlight using a multimeter and it functions as expected and yet when used with a (low power) LED bulb it fails to switch it off. So I'm convinced that apocryphal stories about LED bulbs only needing current on a single pin are true. I presume the off side of the switch is basically acting as a capacitor.
