We don't need to worry about the Demon Seed scenario on Macs because HomeKit requires signed executables. So if you don't sign, the machine can't take over your home. Nonetheless I asked Codex to turn on the living room lamp and it got there in 5 minutes. (I had to give it permission to run Python code.)
