Got to the end of Young Sherlock. As I mentioned before it starts a bit stupidly. Except after a few episodes it takes a darker turn and drops some (not all) of the comedy. It was surprisingly good.

And a significant plot point hinges on the fact that complex solutions to real polynomial equations come in conjugate pairs (well... a totally garbled version of that anyway).
