The problem is that they’ve built a piracy machine. It can pirate anything, from open source, to good ideas, to works of art. It can even pirate LLMs. The problem is not only that these companies have no moats themselves, it’s that nothing digital has a moat anymore. Not sure if there is a way out, and what that would look like. Good time to do a plumbing apprenticeship.
