In the past day I have learned that demand for AI data centers has been cited as the cause of significant increases in cost for the Brightline West high-speed train route between LA and Las Vegas because the big construction companies are busy building data centers and also the Steam Machine/Frame from Valve because AI data centers are eating up all of the RAM. Fuck AI, I want personal computers and trains!
