Big Ben，中國翻譯成「大本鐘」，可能是因為 Ben 是 Benjamin 的簡稱，而天主教把 Benjamin 翻譯成「本雅明」的緣故。但是既然英國是新教國家，那麼 Big Ben 應該要依據 Benjamin 在新教中的翻譯「便雅憫」，翻譯成「大便鐘」才對吧！
