How satisfying is it to watch this forest grow back?
This ecosystem in Uganda is home to chimpanzees, but it was being cut down for charcoal and firewood.
So we teamed up with @janegoodall_austria and local communities to plant forest corridors.
7 years later, 36,690 trees are growing and protected 🌳 and the chimps are starting to roam freely again 🥹
