A development idea - interactive html in posts

Something I've always thought would be incredibly useful, and it should not be difficult to do: To have html/javascript run in a post. (If posted as one block in html tags). It works in widgets so should be possible in posts, as html gets picked up by the browser Why would this be useful ... is to have all sorts of interactive things! I currently have some one file mini games and utilities that I put in widgets.
