I wonder why this is? I used to really like the quote tweet on the dead bird site and when I moved to Mastodon I really missed that function. Now after three years of not being able to quote toot, I find the new quote toot function on Mastodon of no interest. It seems that few are using the new quote toot function on Mastodon. (I can't say I've seen a single use of it in my fedi feed.)
