so-called “ai” companies are replicating the power structure of organized christianity, specifically catholicism. the church believes that only the ordained can communicate with god, everyone else just needs to pray and ask the priest for anything else.

“ai” is attempting to put a gate up in front of computation. only the “ai” owners (priests) can change the program (talk to god directly). this is how they envision a new technocratic society.

like the church used illiteracy as a tool for domination, so does the “ai” industry. the less we all know about how our technological systems work, the more power concentrates in the “church” …
