multicast 불가 : ISP 레벨로 네트워크 인프라를 통제할 뿌리가 없는 넷플릭스로써는 개별 시청자 상대로 unicast를 통해 전송할 수밖에 없었음 -> 높은 망 부하, 실시간성에 한계 발생.
인터넷에서 다수가 영상을 동시시청하는 건 이미 기존 형태로도 제법 기술적인 차력쇼에 가깝다; 구글처럼 톱티어 백본을 들고 있어도 쉽지 않은 문제. 인터넷이라는 망 자체가 사실 스트림 broadcast에는 적합한 전송 레이어가 아니다...
