Kinda baffled how I've seen nobody point out that the US' insistence that travel documents like visas or ESTA must reflect gender marker assigned at birth is effectively a travel ban for trans people, because you're not going to cross the border with an ESTA that says M and a passport that says F

Even all the travel warnings are just like "make sure you comply with their regulations" and it's like uh, dude, the regulations were made so they are impossible to comply with if you're not cis
