I wonder if the New York Democratic establishment has any idea how devastating an Andrew Cuomo mayorship will be for their party. There could be no worse standard-bearer for the Party than a machine politician, an unrepentant sexual predator, corrupt, inept, installed by billionaire donors through shady, bottomless SuperPAC funds. If he pulls out a win over a young, anti-colonial, Socialist candidate, Democrats will lose a generation of voters, not just in NYC, but around the country.
