@cwebberChristine Lemmer-Webber @laurenshof I don't think it's necessary to get feature parity with the Mastodon API to make this take-off happen.

The most interesting API clients won't be clones of Elk or Tusky; they'll be implementing games, new social interactions, IOT, events, and so on.
