And that Mastodon wasn't handling it well.
In your view, how should previews be handled from an ActivityPub point of view?

Mastodon has gotten a lot better! It now shows the title, summary and url of long form text, images, video and other content objects.
The preview can be nice to use instead, but I think it's at least a good start.
