I still love Mastodon’s decentralized model, but it’s crazy to me that after so many years it gets basic things wrong like not showing you all the replies to a post unless you click over to the original server and having incorrect counts all the time. I understand open source and federation is hard but these have been open issues on GitHub since 2016.
