Before I started dealing with FSKit (macOS's FUSE semi-equivalent) I thought volumes were either mounted, or unmounted.

Now I know about like 18 intermediate states, several of them meaning "only reboot will fix it (lest you disable SIP)". It's cool. I'm cool. We're cool.
