Interesting — this is what my quote-post looks like in an application that doesn't support Mastodon-style quote-posts yet.

@reiver@reiver ⊼ (Charles) yeah they wrap that link in a quote class and I guess quote aware clients avoid rendering it (I still do along with the quote)
