🪄⏱️ In the age of relatively short-lived personal objects, there’s something truly magical about putting on a multi-decades old automatic watch, move it and it keeps going.

😢🪫Batteries (chemistries/lack of self-servicing) and software are making our current tech so fragile in comparison. I assume at some point NAND wear also leads to problems.
