"정신과의사회는 "보통 청소년이 부모에게 진료비를 받기 때문에 관례적으로 청소년의 경우 약물 복용에 대해서도 부모의 동의를 얻는다"며 "그러나 부모 몰래 진료 받으러 온 청소년을 진료했다가 이후에 부모가 진료비 환불을 요구하는 등 문제가 발생한 경우가 종종 있다"고 말했다."
