@reiver@reiver ⊼ (Charles) 1.seamless onboarding : There should not be any more steps than going on a similar commercial platform. You create an account, that’s it. Migration should be this way too, it’s a strong point for the fediverse, i tried to migrate before didn’t understand how to do it. One account for all the apps would be really cool too and a big advantage.

@reiver@reiver ⊼ (Charles) 2.The content is already there : Most controversial one. We need open recommandation algorithm. Algorithm that are not black box, that can be audited so we can see what they are recommending and why in real time if needed (flow is a good example). For me it needs to be hidden in a sub menu because the majority of people don’t care and it can create visual clutter. When there is 500 millions people on a platform, following a hashtag becomes a mess and “power posters” become a problem.
