It creates a mess where the majority of things i see are not what interest me. Algorithmic bubble are real but bubbles exist also on the fediverse, 1. Because of the platform and the type of people it attracts 2. The people you follow and who they follow, like social circles in real life.

Feature parity : This one does not needs to be immediate, but when things like double tap to like on loops or search for post on someone account on mastodon is not there, it’s key features missing. We also need a way to share post similar to what is done on X or insta, where it just show you the post in question directly in the dms. A lot of younger people it’s the number one feature they use on app like insta and tiktok.
