@reiver@reiver ⊼ (Charles) 5.Money: there is no long term way to fund the fediverse, without ads would be much better (ads incentive can make platform do stupid things), maybe donations to creators with a cut taken by the instance or/and platform could be done but that’s not recurring revenue. Honestly I have no idea what could be done, definitely need some kind of innovation. EU/State funding could also be something but it’s not stable (political landscape changes all the time).
