I did some changes to my wife's computer and there was no more room for the old Intel 2200 PCIe wireless card, but there was an M.2 slot still available. I've bought an M.2 M-key to A/E-key adapter plus a bracket and two high-gain antennas from Fenvi, and plopped in an Intel AC 9260 card I had salvaged from a dead laptop. So now she's got a better wireless card plus BT 4.0 support.

Total price: 9,81€ including shipping.

A photo of a Fenvi NGFF to M.2 adapter with an Intel Wireless-AC 9260 card mounted on it. The adapter has a black PCB and a small cable plugged on the left side, close to the M.2 connector, this is the USB cable used for Bluetooth functionality. Two small black antenna cables extend from the wifi card on the right. My fingers are visible, holding the card.
