Here we go again. I've been buying almost all of my games on GoG in the past few years and I like what they do, but if they're gonna keep putting slop in their marketing material I'm going to keep naming and shaming them until they stop. If they want my money they'd better pay an artist. Details about the genAI artifacts in the alt text but some are really easy to spot.

A marketing image from GoG showing three hands breaking up in three parts a CD. On the three parts are different logos, one with a joypad icon, one with a star and one with "GOG Dreamlist" written on it. The caption on the image says "Your contributions save video games".

The image is clearly AI-generated: the hand in the bottom left corner has the pinky and ring finger in a completely unnatural position. The hand in the upper left corner appears to be made of polygons, but several are not triangles or rectangles, some are not even convex and finally the CD has a bizarre blue halo on the bottom. The proportions of the spindle hole and its plastic ring are also off.
