I was thoroughly cleaning up and repairing this Thinkpad T420. It needed some fresh thermal paste and a new LCD screen, since the old one was broken. It was also of incredibly poor quality, a notorious flaw of this model, the new one is significantly better.

Since this is a 14 years old machine I also did an important diagnostic on it: a full memory test, and guess what I found?
