Just a small shoutout of admiration for what @bigzaphodSean Heber has accomplished in the upcoming Tapestry 1.1 update. The new Crosstalk feature will help keep your timeline free of duplicate posts across different feeds from the same author and while it’s not perfect, it’s damned impressive.

I had to severely edit my Mastodon toot for the 300 char limit on Bluesky and despite the differences, Crosstalk still ID’d it and muffled it correctly. It truly is a cool feature. Bravo, Sean. 👏

Tapestry still identified it as being the same content and minimized it as crosstalk so I could ignore it in the timeline.
