I want to add that, on average, any claim from a Big Tech software engineer already has been and continue to be irrelevant to anybody outside of these 5-10 companies: scale-wise, resource-wise, gain-wise and, finally, moral-wise (even not counting all of the "gen AI" effects).
They work and live in a different world (until the moment they are laid off).
