From wikipedia: "Still readable QR Code, with error correction level "Q" (25%), damaged in 15 bytes of a total 70 split into two blocks. The damage is within the allowed limit of 9 bytes per block of 35."

You can also embed a QR code inside another QR code. Which one gets scanned depends to a degree on what software is scanning it and the resolution of the camera. You can force a scan of one link or the other by simple covering a relevant sync pad.
