Hi friends,

As many of you know, ICE is operating in ways that tear families apart, enter homes without warrants, and traumatize innocent people. This is not law enforcement — this is terror and an abuse of power.

I have seen firsthand what happens when the government sends children and families to camps — detention centers, “facilities,” whatever name they choose to soften the blow. I know what that kind of incarceration does to a child’s spirit, to a family’s sense of safety and belonging. I cannot stand by while our government once again enables agents to strip people of their dignity, their rights, and the fundamental freedoms every human being deserves.

That’s why I’m urging you, with all the gravity this moment demands, to add your name to a petition telling Congress: abolish ICE.

When enough of us raise our voices together, we remind our leaders — and ourselves — that compassion is our strength, not cruelty.
