This post remains one of the best things that I've done on this platform https://mastodon.social/@glyph/114039964828917782 — seeing all the lovely things people replied with was a balm to the soul. But I have to say that I thought it would tide me over, not until things got "back to normal" (it seems clear that will never happen) but at least I could regroup, take a breath, and acclimate to the new horrible status quo, at least to the point where we could all balance living life with being politically aware again.

If you don't mind, could you reply to this toot with something you have accomplished recently? Work, hobby, whatever, but especially if it's something fiddly and technical that required quiet contemplation or problem solving. Right now my feed is flooded with the omni-catastrophe even more than it was in, like, March of 2020, and I just want (and suspect we could all use) some reminders that progress is still happening and being effective is still possible
