I have such mixed feelings about the intense tone of the commentary about recent events. On the one hand, yes, the collapse of judicial review and thus the constitutional order is a big deal. Secret police kidnapping people off the street is a big deal. The US executive becoming customers of an extraterritorial torture dungeon is a big deal. This is all extremely bad and people should be freaking out. #USPol
