This is a party, and I do plan on posting about the good time I am having, but please don’t interpret that to mean that it’s OK with me, or with anyone else in the community, that some groups remain excluded or marginalized.
Glad to see this acknowledged from the main stage. Not sure if the graph is legible here but it shows that the amount of grants the PSF supplied to international events, particularly in Africa and Europe, far outstrips the grants given to US events. So the stuff going on at #PyConUS directly supports the community that can’t be here.
