If you are not familiar, Andy Masley is an "effective altruism" doofus (i.e. a member of Sam Bankman Fried's cult) who has made me extremely mad before about his fermi-estimate fast-talking incoherent bullshit; for an example of some really *bad* work he has posted to his (ugh) Substack, here's a previous response I've written.
But the water-usage article appears to be in a completely different tier of analysis.
