Being a more or less solo developer with a zillion esoteric projects at this point, I find it *so* easy to understand how compelling the promise of LLM coding is. It promises a substitute for human relationships; need to bounce an idea off of it? Just issue a prompt and get some slop! No need to struggle in isolation. It's easy enough to respond to that by saying "talk to an actual person! hire juniors! do the actual work of organizing an open source project!" But … none of those things are easy
