“Golden” is one of the weirdest songs I have ever heard. It’s a hype song for lies! A banger anthem for self-loathing and imposter syndrome. It’s not my favorite song on the album but it is so layered and complex that it’s the one I keep coming back to. First couple times I heard it I thought it’s just got lyric/melodic dissonance but nope the tension and uncertainty is all over the music too if you listen for it
