My Steam Deck has always had catastrophically slow SD card speeds. Now it's to the point where certain games (particularly Rocket League) are so slow to patch that even if I kick off a batch update at 9PM, by 11AM the following day the patching isn't done. There are directions suggesting that repartitioning might help (but then I'd need to redownload a terabyte of games). But *why*? I manually ran fstrim (which took an hour) and it sped up for a few minutes, then back to multi-minute stalls
