I had an actual *positive* surprising tech experience recently so please bear with me as I drop a few affiliate links (see disclosures in bio) to describe it

I got an "amazon basics" white-label dock for a couch-computing setup. I got it at $50 below the current price but even at $135 it's not a bad value for a thunderbolt dock. However, unlike the (objectively better-specced) CalDigit docks, its 2.5GbE is a USB3 device, which means it works with the Steam Deck.
