almost once a week now I will run across an account farming engagement on here and wonder what is going on. do people think that Mastodon has a Creator Fund or something? or that somehow Twitter will pay you to post here, instead of there? no outbound links, nothing in the bio, no CTA, no seminar grifter landing page, no apparent *reason* to be spamming, just pages and pages of obvious fake AI filler with a million hashtags on it. what is going on??
