Fascinating conversation with a chaplain today about rituals that made me think how we want every "ritual" in software to generalize and become a rule for everybody but maybe it's not only ok but ideal to have localized rituals that emerge in dialogue with a place
Some needle to thread here between "nothing you say will ever work for me because we're too special" and "everything must generalize regardless of context", both of which are closed minded stances in the end
