anyone happen to know how much noise you typically get from a slip ring passthrough, as the wipers slide over the contact surface?

I want to measure the change in capacitance across a small circuit being rotated at different RPMs, and a slip ring would be the most convenient way to get the measurement, but I'm worried that the wiper noise will make it impossible to measure the delta since I expect the delta will be a few tens of pF.
