Mastodon offers to note the language of your post, but it woefully lacks programming languages like awk, sed, perl, python, golang, rust, and even C. Given the nature of the things I post, is it unreasonable to desire? 😉

a screen-grab of the Language dropdown in the Mastodon web interface. I've typed "aw" but it only returns other human languages (Jawi Malay, Mohawk, Javanese, Kinyarwanda, and Chinese), without any entry for "awk"
