This article¹ by @3a293A29, raspberry pi in a fox was a good read, highlighting the value of *boring technology*. There's not much hype for awk(1) or shell-scripts or ed(1)/vi(1) or Unix/BSD/Linux. But they do the job quietly and reliably.
